About Fighting Goliath

We co-produced this documentary with Robert Redford's Sundance Preserve. The 30-minute film examines the struggle between energy and the environment through the story of a coalition of mayors and ranchers in Texas who opposed 18 coal-fired power plants, showing how the actions of ordinary Texans made an impact in a struggle over air quality. The film has been used by the Redford Center at the Sundance Preserve in their efforts and has screened at hundreds of events and in film festivals around the country. Fighting Goliath won the Communicator's 'Award of Excellence' and will air on the Sundance Channel beginning in 2009.
